Evolution: He evolves from Torambo starting at level 30 when Torambo's Attack is higher than his Defense while holding a King’s Rock when traded. He is one of Torambo's final forms, the other being Toracero.

Torushu, the Juken Pokemon. Torushu are very determined fighters, never backing down from a challenge. They like to pick fights with Dragon types and Fighting types alike. It’s said that their fighting style, Dragon Ken is powerful than any martial art technique. Dragon Ken has also been told to be able to defeat a legendary Pokemon no matter who it is. Like their evolution counterpart (Toracero), Torushu are unable to Fly due to extensive wing damage from fighting and digging. They can only glide and parachute. Torushu is able to reach the speed of 32mph. Torushu are more of power fighters than speed fighters. Torushu needs to ground their spikes due to constant growing just like their pre-evolution, Torambo.
Fighting type and Dragon type specialists have spoken of the difficulty of training Torushu. Torushu are known to be prideful, short-tempered Pokemon who would rather train with reliable, worthy, powerful owners than weak ones. This is why it’s cautioned when wanting to own one. Dragon Tamers advise people to evolve Torushu from a Torambo to have a better connection and understanding after he evolves. Despite the recognized troubles of owning a Torushu, they’re willing to be loyal and recognize a strong leader that knows how to keep them in their place.
They tend to live in mountainous regions. Torushu can be seen participating in annual Pokemon Sumo tournaments and the P1 Grand Prix.

Trivia:
- On record, Torushu is one of the tallest Fighting type Pokemon alongside the Legendary Musketeers (minus Keldeo, who is only 4’03”) and Hariyama (7’07”).
- Despite not being able to Fly, Torushu and its evolution counterpart (Toracero) are able to learn Acrobatics, Aerial Ace, Air Cutter, Air Slash, Defog, Drill Peck, Gust, Mirror Move, Peck, Pluck, Tailwind, and Wing Attack.

Name Origin: Torushu may be the combination of toro (Spanish for bull) and wushu (Mandarin Chinese for martial arts). Wushu is also the word for a sport that’s both an exhibition and a full-contact sport of traditional Chinese martial arts.

Fun Fact:
- Juken is Japanese that translates to “beast fist.” This word, however, is also used in the manga, Naruto referring to the fighting style of the Hyuuga clan. Strangely enough, in Naruto, Juken translates to “gentle fist.” Same spelling, same pronunciation, same tone mark over the “u,” but different translations.
- In old Chinese culture, the number of a dragon’s toes represented the rank of a person. Three toes for lower ranks and the general public. Four toes for imperial nobility and certain high-ranking officials. Five toes were only for the emperor.
